Lance Bass hints that *NSYNC is moving closer to launching a reunion

*NSYNC is one dance move closer to a reunion, it seems.

The act’s Lance Bass says the former boy band — which made a comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, amid rumors of a new project — are “talking about” launching a reunion, and he’s hopeful to have some “good news.”

Bass appeared on the online game show “Rent Free” with Bilt Rewards founder and CEO Ankur Jain, who asked the singer about the comeback possibility.

“Are we doing a reunion coming up?” Jain asked Bass, who responded, “Look, we are talking about it — and I hope to have some good news, at some point.”

When Jain pushed, “Jan. 1 on rent day,” Bass said, “Give us a little more time than that.”

The Bilt Rewards show has celeb guests answer questions to win rent for the app’s members.

Bass also said of his former band, “One fun fact, *NSYNC was the No. 1 seller of cassette tapes for years . . . to the end of the ’90s, for some reason, they always liked buying our albums on cassette tape.”

Two weeks after the VMAs, bandmates Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone released a tune for the “Trolls Band Together” soundtrack, their first new music in more than two decades.

Page Six also reported that Staten Island foodie influencer Danny Mondello — who is behind the wildly popular TikTok account Meals_by_cug — said on Bilt Rewards’ show that Drake once asked him to the rapper’s favorite restaurant.

But the rap star allegedly then ghosted the social media food favorite.
