Luann de Lesseps hints she broke sobriety on ‘RHONY Legacy’ trip: ‘I like to have fun on occasion’

Luann de Lesseps may have slipped up in her sobriety while filming “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.”

“I take it day by day. And you’ll see it on this trip. I address it in terms of, you know what? That was an occasion, and I like to have fun on occasion because that trip was an occasion,” the cabaret performer told Page Six exclusively at a Peacock event Tuesday night.

When we flat-out asked whether that meant she had imbibed alcohol during production, de Lesseps played coy.

“You’ll see on the show. You’ll have to watch,” she demurred.

The former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast member, 58, has been open in the past about her struggles with alcohol.

In 2017, de Lesseps was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest, battery of an officer and making threats against a public servant.

The “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer was placed on probation and ordered to refrain from alcohol, but she struggled to do so at the time and entered treatment for the second time in less than a year.

De Lesseps started drinking again in 2020 but decided to quit once more shortly afterward.

The following year, the Bravolebrity told Page Six that it was an ongoing process.

“Sobriety is not easy,” she acknowledged. “It’s a day-by-day thing. I ultimately have more fun and I’m happier when I don’t drink.”

De Lesseps is one of the original “RHONY” cast members starring on the “Legacy” spinoff, which takes place at the infamous Pirate House in St. Barts from Season 5.

The cast also includes Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon and Kristen Taekman.

With the Caribbean idyll now behind her, de Lesseps is looking forward to the new year and is hopeful that she will find love.

“I’m single and very happy, and I feel like 2024 is going to be my year,” she divulged to us.

“I go in seven-year intervals. I divorced the Count [Alexandre de Lesseps] and married Tom [D’Agostino], and [it will be] seven years since I divorced Tom in 2024, so there you go. 2024 is going to be my year!”

“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” premieres Thursday on Peacock.
