Eva Mendes reveals the best gifts she and Ryan Gosling ever exchanged — and her plan for this year

Searching for the perfect present? For Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, something cozy is more than Kenough.

The actress tells Page Six Style that “some of the most memorable gifts” they’ve exchanged as a couple over the years have been “warm socks.”

This year, however, Mendes’ “Barbie”-star beau will be unwrapping something even more practical: her Skura Style Eva’s Essentials Kit ($26), which features 10 microfiber cloths and six “smart” sponges that indicate when it’s time for a replacement. (“I like to bring my work home with me,” she says.)

Before throwing in the sponge on her holiday shopping, the “Hitch” star is also stocking up on several beauty favorites — including the Goshi Exfoliating Shower Towel ($17), which she says is “not too harsh and lathers up beautifully.”

She’s also among the many stars who rely on Shani Darden’s skincare, as she recommends wrapping up the celebrity esthetician’s Hydration Peptide Cream ($58) for the holidays.

“I love all of Shani Darden’s products,” she tells us. “This one is my favorite because it’s not too heavy yet it’s very moisturizing, especially when my skin dries out in the winter.”

In addition to picking up her favorite skincare standbys, she’s also making things merry and bright with “non-toxic and long-lasting” seasonal scents from Qualitas — plus equally sweet-smelling macarons from Ladurée.

“The packaging is so beautiful and it’s the perfect chic stocking stuffer,” she says of the confections, sold in sets like the Napoleon III Green Box ($21).

For a present that could serve as a reminder to me more, well, present, she’s also a fan of Thich Nhat Hanh’s “How to Love” ($8), an “easy to carry” mindfulness book that’s “filled with beautiful reminders on how to treat those we love.”

As for the best gift she’s ever unwrapped from a loved one, Mendes points to the IQAir Air Purifier ($899).

“I can actually breathe in its effectiveness and it doubles as white noise at nighttime,” she says.
